First class of Pelican 2 aircraft operators is approved

Synerjet graduates the first class of Pelican autonomous aircraft operators. These are properly trained professionals now available for future buyers of the agricultural aircraft. The course also marked the use of the first Pelican 2 simulator.

São Paulo, December 2025 - Last month, Synerjet held the second training of Pelican 2 aircraft operators in Goianápolis (GO) and for the first time graduated operators to work with future buyers of the aircraft. The idea is to have a pool of professionals available for the next companies purchasing the model. The 20 approved students will be recommended to the next buyers of the autonomous aircraft.

“In terms of infrastructure, we launched the first Pelican 2 aircraft simulator, which allowed students to be in two different environments and command the aircraft exactly as in operation, with real-time radio control,” said Eduardo Goerl, Synerjet’s field support manager.

Synerjet is the representative of the Pyka brand for Latin America and understands that professional training and customer support are fundamental pillars for the success of new technology in agribusiness.

In the course, the new operators had theoretical classes and then experiences in the flight simulator. The next stage will be in the field and fully practical. The curriculum also covered the topic of civil liability of aircraft operators, even if unmanned.

Once again, a team from the company AgroEfetiva presented agronomic concepts for the use of pesticides, nozzle adjustment, flow rate, uniformity, and application precision, among other technical details. “A new class is being formed for the course in March next year,” said Goerl.

For those who are not yet familiar, the Pelican 2 combines advanced spraying technology with innovative design, allowing farmers to apply agricultural products with precision. The aircraft can carry 300 liters of payload, is supplied with five battery sets to ensure continuous operation, and covers up to 90 hectares per hour, depending on application rates and field sizes.

The model is capable of operating at night, which significantly increases productivity by nearly doubling the viable spraying window and maximizing efficiency, tackling nocturnal pests at the optimal time.
